1.

What makes RV Wash any different than the other cleaners that I can buy to clean my RV?

Most of the cleaners that you can buy are based on old degreaser formulas that have been around for years.  Many of them even say on them that they are cleaner/degreasers.  Most of those products contain something in them that are harmfull to your RV.  Either they have caustics or solvents in them that at the very least cause streaking to your siding or worse, will attack the paint and soften the decals that are on your siding.  Many of them attack the rubber in roof systems and cause degredation to them.  RV Wash is a formula that contains no caustics or butyl based solvents. It was actually formulated to attack the soils and film that get on siding.  While their formulas would probably work equally as well to clean your stove, ours won't.  Then again your stove is not what we are trying to clean better than they are.  Other formulas are wash and wax formulas.  If your RV will clean up with these products, we have no problem with them.  They are perfectly safe and you probably have a very new RV.  Sooner or later though, you'll need RV Wash.

2.

How does the hose end sprayer work?

Attach sprayer to water hose.  The small green button on front of sprayer is soap feed on/off and the larger green dial toward back of sprayer controls rinse water on/off.   Rotate soap feed button forward to clear shipping lock, now turn water on.  Push soap feed button in to apply cleaner to workable area. Turn water off, turn soap feed off.  Brush area where cleaner has been applied then rinse and move on to next area to be cleaned.  When sprayer is stored be certain that the soap feed button is rotated back to lock position.  This will insure that cleaner will not leak out if bottle falls over.

3.

What's the advantage to the hose end sprayer?

It eliminates having to drag a wash bucket around with you.  Also, half the work of cleaning something the size of an RV is dipping and throwing the cleaner on the siding, roof or awning.  Keep in mind that with painted aluminum being harder to clean, the key to the hose end sprayer working on this type of siding is cleaning it with some frequency.  But, the sprayer makes this easier to do.

4.

What do I use to refill my hose end sprayer?

RV Wash is also packed in one gallon containers. It is the exact same product that the quart hose end sprayer bottle is filled with.

5.

How much cleaner does the hose end sprayer use?

The hose end sprayer mixes cleaner at a preset ratio of 40-1.  That is equal to a little over three ounces per gallon of water.

6.

Will the hose end sprayer clean all siding at this ratio?

That depends on the type of siding you have and the frequency that you have cleaned your Rv. First of all, painted aluminum is much harder to clean than fiberglass siding.  If you have not cleaned painted aluminum in a very long time, you may do better to mix RV Wash stronger in a bucket and clean it with this solution first to get RV clean. Refer to mixing instructions on RV Wash gallon, then use the hose end sprayer to keep it maintained after that.  Painted aluminum does require more frequent cleaning than fiberglass does. If you are cleaning fiberglass, the hose end sprayer should work fine.  You may even be able to remove the black sreaks with the hose end sprayer level of concentration.  If you clean fiberglass with great frequency you may be able to weaken the concentration and still get good results.  Just fill the hose end sprayer with half as much concentrate and top off with water.

7.

The hose end sprayer cleaned eveything but the black streaks. What can I get them off with?

Make your own black streak remover from the same gallon of RV Wash that you use to refill the hose end sprayer.  Obtain a quart trigger sprayer bottle from a dollar store or other store,  you can even recycle a bottle that contained Windex or the sort, be sure to rinse a recycled bottle out including the spray head. Mix a solution of 1/2 Wizards and 1/2 water at the most.  Spray black streak with this and wait a few seconds then brush or wipe off.  If your RV is washed regularly you can probable use 1/3  RV Wash and 2/3 water. This will make you a better black streak remover than you can buy at the store and you don't have to purchase a separate product.

8.

Does RV Wash offer a Black Streak Remover?

Read answer to question number 7. Remember "One Product Does It All".

9.

Can I clean my rubber roof with RV Wash?

Yes, RV Wash is safe on rubber roofs.  RV Wash contains no caustics or solvents that attack the make-up of the rubber.  The hose end sprayer shoud give a stong enough concentration of cleaner to get the soils off. Just apply cleaner, brush and rinse.  A slightly stronger solution may be mixed in a bucket and brushed on if desired.  Keep in mind, all you want to do is get the dirt off to eliminate black streaking on the siding.  Nothing but a bleach will make it extremely white again and that is not a safe product for rubber roof cleaning.  Bleach is made from a caustic process and that will open the pores of the rubber and allow the oil in the rubber to escape.  Repeated use of bleach will cause the rubber to degrade and crack.

10.

Can I use RV Wash to clean my awnings?

Yes, once again the easiest way is to apply cleaner with the hose end sprayer, brush and rinse.  For stubborn stains, use the black streak remover made from RV Wash then brush and rinse.  RV Wash won't harm the awing even if it dries on it.  You may also clean awnings with a solution mixed in a bucket and brushed on and rinsed.  But, It sure is easier to use the hose end sprayer.  No more bucket to drag around.

11.

Do dealers use RV Wash?

Yes, mostly in the Southeastern states, but, we have dealers in Texas, Missouri and Maine that wash their rv's with our product.  If there is not a dealer in your local area we can ship via UPS and other carriers.

12.

What else can you clean with RV Wash?

RV Wash can be used to clean acrylic showers and tubs and even makes a good carpet cleaner and spotter.  We're still being told by our customers regularly, of new things it will clean.
